Kitchens are measured wall to wall, cabinets stay in the equation. 

We do this to be fair to ourself because otherwise,kitchens are more difficult to do, and less in sq footage. 

Working around cabinets is tedious work. The kick plate at the bottom is only 4 inches and needs to be done by hand.

We are very careful not to knick or get any stain or finish on the cabinets.  Sometimes we reccomend removing the facia from the bottom of the kick plate.

The example shows a total sq footage of 557 sq feet.
